Hello!
I want to take a moment to leave a positive review of CGO City Driver Tom Kopf. I had a delivery yesterday of eight light fixtures to a job site a few blocks away from our office. He arrived at the very end, but still within, the delivery window and unfortunately, my on-site foreman had left for the day. I asked if he would be willing to deliver to our office instead, assuming the answer would be "no way." But, he was more than happy to do it. He unloaded the fixtures into a tight storage area at our office and was so courteous and professional the entire time.
In my experience coordinating material deliveries, I have come to expect delivery drivers to be inflexible and often condescending, but Tom could not have been more accommodating.

DLS Assistant Terminal Manager Danny Salazar recently went over and beyond to help me. We had a crate picked up from our location and the item inside was missing a simple sticker that had to be placed on it. I called to see if we could get the crate held at the terminal and I would stop by to place the sticker.
When we arrived, the crate had been loaded on a trailer destined for Salt Lake City. We were able to open the trailer, but the crate was nowhere in sight. I figured we would have to wait for the trailer to hit its destination and then re-route it. I explained the importance of this sticker to Danny, but that I also understood that this trailer was full and I did not expect him to make special arrangements just for me.
However, Danny came through and helped me tremendously. He was able to get one of the guys on the dock to move some items in the trailer so that we could access the crate. The end result? The sticker is on the item, and this has saved me not only money and time, but my relationship with my customer.
Please reach out to Danny and let him know that it’s employees like himself that will make Saia number one on my list for LTL transportation.
