Jeff Cheyne has been named our Odessa, Texas terminal manager. Though new to Saia, Jeff has 18 years of management experience with another large, national carrier. He is currently working towards his degree at Texas Tech University in Lubbock.

Cory Tea, who had been serving as the Odessa manager, has taken on the key role of assistant terminal manager at our Garland, Texas facility. Corey did an excellent job in Odessa and we look forward to seeing him excel in his new position.

Steve Minturn has been named our new Omaha, Nebraska terminal manager. He began his career at Saia in February 2005 as a part-time dockworker. Since that time, Steve has progressively moved into ever-increasing levels of responsibility at the facility having worked as a lead dockworker, inbound supervisor, and operations manager.

Matthew Moore has been named the new zone manager for our Fayetteville, North Carolina and Florence, South Carolina terminals. Matt joined Saia in 2014 and has over 24 years of experience in the transportation industry. In his career, he has served as a terminal manager, operations manager and inbound supervisor.

Leopoldo “Leo” Ramirez has been named our new LAX terminal manager. Leo joined Saia in 2015 as an operations supervisor. Most recently, he had been serving as the assistant terminal manager. Leo has 13 years of experience in the freight industry including many as a dock supervisor for a large, national carrier.
