This month's Company Update highlights the new logistics sales executive and the new SBN/FWN zone manager. Also featured is and the new NOL regional manager who is taking the place of the retired Gregg Hawkinson and the new ATL terminal manager.
Colacecchi Named a Logistics Sales Executive
Scott Colacecchi has been named a new logistics sales executive who’ll be domiciled at our Garland, Texas terminal. Scott will be responsible for growing our revenue and market share in the Dallas Region for each of our specialty products by working with both our field and national sales teams to secure and onboard new business.
Though new to Saia, he has 31 years of experience in the transportation industry having worked in both operations and sales including time as a city and regional sales manager. Scott is a graduate of Texas Tech University.
Banke Named SBN/FWN Zone Manager
Scott Banke has accepted the position of South Bend/Fort Wayne, Indiana zone manager, with the position being domiciled in SBN. Scott brings 17 years of industry experience to this role. He joined Saia in 2015 as an operations supervisor in FWN before being promoted to Bloomington, Illinois terminal manager in 2018.
Over the past year, he has assisted in training new terminal managers in the CGO Region and has traveled to other terminals to assist when extended periods of coverage were needed. Scott has been the local “go-to” person who has helped the region utilize web-based smart tools as they score their local day-to-day operations.
Boykin Promoted to NOL Regional Manager; Hawkinson Retires
Joe Boykin has been named our New Orleans regional manager. Joe has been part of the Saia family for over 15 years now having provided leadership to our teams in Little Rock, Arkansas; Tupelo, Mississippi; and, of course, Memphis, Tennessee, where most of everyone knows him from.
Not only did he bring experience to the company, he quickly adopted the Saia culture. That same experience and management has propelled him into this new role.
Joe is filling the shoes of Gregg Hawkinson who retired from the role to move onto the next challenge, enjoying more time with his wife and family. Gregg worked at Saia for over 17 years and has served as both the regional sales and regional manager for us in the region.
Radnoti Named ATL Terminal Manager
Anthony Radnoti has been named the terminal manager for our Atlanta, Georgia facility. Anthony, who goes by Tony, began his career at Saia four years ago at the ATL terminal as the outbound operations manager.
For the last 3 ½ years, he has worked as the assistant terminal manager. Tony has 20-plus years of industry experience and has previously served as a terminal manager prior to his arrival at Saia.
