Company Update

This month's Company Update spotlights the announcements of the new GBY/WAU terminal manager, a new sales enablement manager and the new leader of total rewards.

Konrad Accepts Terminal Manager Position

Trevor Konrad has accepted the position of terminal manager for our Green Bay and Wausau, Wisconsin (GBY/WAU) facilities. He will be domiciled in GBY. Trevor graduated from Bradley University in 2018 with a degree in business management and leadership. Upon graduation, he entered the transportation industry as a supervisor with a competitor before joining our Grayslake, Illinois (GLK) terminal in 2021 as a dispatcher.

The GBY and WAU teams have a long-standing record of success and invaluable experience, which has been a cornerstone of each terminal’s culture.  Trevor has repeatedly demonstrated an ability to excel in all operational areas through leadership and critical thinking, and his skillset will further complement the high “Customer First” standards that already exist in both facilities.

Pastore Named Sales Enablement Manager

Jake Pastore has been named Saia’s sales enablement manager, a new position for the company. In this role, Jake will drive programs and initiatives that will enable sales team members by creating and delivering engaging and effective coaching programs and by helping them identify and secure new revenue opportunities. Additionally, he will advise sales leadership on effective coaching strategies through training programs, and individual mentorship, and will track the effectiveness of sales coaching by measuring both key indicators and performance.

Jake joined Saia in 2013 and has served as an account executive, sales development manager and, most recently, as the inside sales manager. He was named a President’s Club winner in 2015. Jake has 13 years of experience in transportation and is a graduate of Ohio State University.
