Company Update

This month's Company Update highlights three individuals — our new CTN and ATH manager, the new director of Revenue Management, and the new vice president of Marketing and Customer Service.

Axley Selected to be New CTN and ATH Manager

David Axley has been named the new manager for our Chattanooga, Tenn. and Athens, Ga. terminals. David has seven years of experience with Saia in various leadership roles - most recently as the operations manager in Nashville. He is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University.

Miller Promoted to Director of Revenue Management

Sarmona B. Miller has been named our new director of revenue management. As such, she will be responsible for Saia's Traffic, Billing, and Credit Departments. BGO Billing and Collection Manager Lisa Field will report to her.

Sarmona started her career at the company in 2008 and has served in a variety of roles with ever-increasing responsibility including billing and rate clerk, billing auditor, revenue management coordinator, credit manager and traffic/credit manager. She has 16 years of experience in the transportation industry and possesses a master's degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.

Stupp Named Vice President of Marketing and Customer Service

Brian Stupp has joined our team as vice president of marketing and customer service. In this capacity, Brian will oversee all aspects of our Inside Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service Departments.

Brian has over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing, and strategy for large Fortune 500 companies as well as venture capital and private equity owned organizations. He earned a bachelor in business administration degree in marketing and corporate finance from Washington University's John Olin School of Business where he was a four year letterman in baseball.
