How long have you been with Saia?
I will have been here five years at the end of August.
Where do you work and what is your job title?
I work in the Boise, Idaho office as a customer service representative.
Tell us little about your well-being journey and what is important to you?
It took me a long time to love myself and realize that I have a little one that needs me to be healthy and fit to keep up with her. My goal is to be the best mom I can be and provide for my child. Nothing should stop me from doing that. After my child’s open heart surgery, and realizing that she was going to be just fine and have lots of energy, I knew I needed to keep up with her. That was my motivation.
What hobbies or interest do you have?
I like to do anything outdoors — camping, backpacking, and riding bikes. Kajukenbo, a type of martial arts, is also an interest of mine.
What is your favorite quote?
"Let your hope make you glad. Be patient in the time of trouble and never stop praying." Romans 12:12
What is your proudest personal accomplishment?
I am most proud of being able to buy my first house for Zoey and me.
