Fritz Holzgrefe has been named an executive vice president and chief financial officer. Because of this change, Fritz will assume direct reporting responsibilities for our Information Technology, Pricing, and Maintenance and Properties Departments.

Ray Ramu has been named an executive vice president and chief customer officer.

Corey Thompson has been named our executive vice president of Operations. Our divisional vice presidents of Operations along with the company's Linehaul, Engineering, and Claims Prevention Departments will report to him.

Jared Mull has been named our new Eastern division vice president of Operations. He has over 16 years of LTL experience and most recently served as the Cincinnati regional manager.

Lal Named New Vice President and Chief Information Officer

Rohit Lal has been named Saia's new vice president and chief information officer. In this role, Rohit will be responsible for ensuring that Saia's information technology (IT) enables and supports the company's key business objectives in advanced analytics, deployment and optimization of technology, and expansion.

Rohit has more than 17 years of experience in IT within the manufacturing and distribution sector having primarily worked at The Coca-Cola Company in positions of increasing responsibility. Most recently, he served as the IT architecture director at CONA Services - A Coca-Cola System IT Services Company whose mission it is to provide business solutions to ten of the largest North American franchise bottlers of the company. Prior to his tenure at Coca-Cola, he served as the managing principal for AceTrack, Inc. in Duluth, Ga. Tim Lombardo, director of computer operations at the ACO; Corey Louviere, director of IT at the HGO; and Chris McKinnish, our business intelligence manager, will report to Rohit.

Rohit possesses a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur, India.

Flynn Named New CGO Regional Safety Manager

Patrick Flynn has been named our new CGO regional safety manager. Pat began his career in logistics six years ago as a driver for a large, international shipping and delivery company. There, he was promoted within their small package division to an on-road operations manager, inside operations manager and industrial engineer. Most recently, he had been serving as an operations manager for a large LTL carrier.  Prior to entering the field of logistics, he worked as a teacher and football coach. Pat holds a bachelor's degree from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Ill.

Haehnlein Named New CIN Regional Manager

Jason Haehnlein has been named the new Cincinnati regional manager. He'll continue to be domiciled at the CIN terminal. Jason had been serving as the CIN terminal manger since July 2013. He began his career with Saia in 2011 as the DET terminal manager.
