Company Update

This month, we are highlighting our new terminal managers, regional manager, director, and two national account executives.

Axley Named New CIN Regional Manager

David Axley was recently named our new Cincinnati, Ohio (CIN) regional manager. He has 16 years of industry experience and joined Saia in 2014.

David has served as a terminal manager, assistant terminal manager, operations manager, supervisor, and dockworker at several of our facilities including CIN; Tampa and Fort Myers, Florida; Nashville and Chattanooga, Tennessee; and Athens, Georgia. He holds a degree in business management from Middle Tennessee State University.

New National Account Executive Named

Bryan Benchich has been named a national account executive. In this position, he will prospect and secure profitable new national account business for the company as he seeks to position both Saia and LinkEx for growth in the automotive industry.

With 17 years of experience in the transportation industry, Bryan has served as a corporate vice president of strategic accounts, area sales director, corporate account executive, and account executive. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University.

Evans Named HNT Terminal Manager

Duane Evans has accepted the position of terminal manager for our Huntsville, Alabama (HNT) facility. With 25-plus years in our industry, Duane has held positions of increasing responsibility in both sales and operations.

Fields Joins Saia as CMB Terminal Manager

Michael Fields has been named our new Columbus, Ohio (CMB) terminal manager. Though new to Saia, Michael has eight years of experience in the industry as a terminal manager, assistant terminal manager, and senior handling units control field analyst. He also spent over a decade working in the automotive industry with CEVA Logistics.

Pankratov Promoted to Director of Profitability Analytics

Dmitriy Pankratov has been promoted to director of profitability analytics. In this role, Dmitriy will continue to work closely with the pricing and finance teams to develop core strategies around the cost model. In addition, he will continue to support the sales and operations teams through analysis of key customer and business trends that drive visibility throughout the business.

In August, Dmitriy celebrated his eighth anniversary with Saia. Throughout his time with the company, he has held roles of increasing responsibility within the pricing and finance teams. Under his leadership, the analytical functions within the finance organization have continued to develop, driving visibility to key trends and customer metrics.

Dmitriy graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in business management.

Saucedo Named 3PL National Account Executive

Pedro Saucedo has been named a 3PL national account executive. In this role, he will develop relationships with our top 3PL partners and execute requests for proposals along with contract renewals to be in line with Saia’s growth initiatives and profitability goals.

Pedro joined Saia nine years ago and has successfully served as an account executive and an enterprise account executive. He is also past President’s Club winner. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas.
