Newton Named Harrisburg Regional Manager

Bob Newton has been named the regional operation manager for our new Harrisburg Region. Prior to joining Saia, Bob was a regional vice president of operations for a Northeastern LTL carrier where he worked for 20 years.

In his new role, he will lead the operations’ management efforts for our expansion into the New Jersey and Pennsylvania markets. He will be domiciled in our Philadelphia terminal when it opens this year.

Roberson Named New Wichita Terminal Manager

Zach Roberson has been named our new Wichita terminal manager. Zach started at Saia in July 2007 as a part-time outbound dockworker. He worked both the inbound and outbound dock until June of 2010 when he was promoted to outbound supervisor. Zach worked in this position for one year before he moved out of operations and took the role of account executive.
