Line Driver Retires After 27 Years

El Paso, Texas (ELP) Line Driver Jesus Garcia retired recently after 27 years of service. Javier Porras, the ELP terminal manager, emailed to say that Jesus had a great day and that they presented him with a Blackstone Griddle. Jesus, congratulations on your retirement! We wish you many happy years ahead! Thank you for your dedication and service!

SAN City Driver Says Goodbye

In May, San Antonio, Texas (SAN) City Driver Robert Johnson retired after 28 years with the company. He was honored with a reception at the terminal and presented with a Pit Boss grill/smoker. Thank you for your years of service, Robert! We wish you all the best as you begin this new chapter in your life!

LAF Driver Bids Farewell to Saia

Lafayette, Louisiana City Driver Don Savant retired in May after 38 years with the company! His colleagues held a reception in his honor, where they stopped by to wish him the best of luck and share stories. We cannot thank you enough, Don, for all your years of service and commitment to the company! We wish you many, many happy years ahead!

Regional Sales Manager Retires

Harrisburg, Pennsylvania (HBG) Regional Sales Manager John Kelley retired in May and was honored by numerous colleagues at a reception held in his honor. John’s career in the transportation industry spanned more than 30 years. He joined Saia as a North American market specialist. He was named the regional sales manager in 2019. In this role, he led our sales efforts across the Northeast. John said, “I had a great run here at Saia. This team has been awesome and everyone worked very hard." John, we wish you all the best! Thank you for your leadership! Congratulations on your retirement!
