Saia Driver Academy
The Saia Driver Academy helps employees earn their commercial driver’s license.
Some of our best drivers didn’t come to Saia as drivers, some started off as dockworkers. The Saia Driver Academy program serves as a training ground for non-drivers and commercial driver’s license (CDL) drivers with less than 12 months of experience. The academy is designed to help you earn your CDL.
I joined Saia because of the opportunities they provide their employees. I started as a part-time dockworker and after 90 days, I applied to the Driver Academy. My trainer, Bradley Brown, was very helpful and encouraging while I was learning to drive. He was very patient and respectful while explaining everything I needed to know to be safe on the road
