This June and July, Saia opened terminals in Owatonna, Minnesota; Stockton, California; and Davenport, Iowa. Each new facility represents another significant step in our strategic plan to enhance our service capabilities and support our expanding customer base.

Two additional terminals were re-located including one facility near Anaheim, California, and another in Laredo, Texas. The opening of the Laredo terminal marked a significant investment in our operations there as it will serve as one of two gateways into Mexico. It will also offer customers onsite warehousing, allowing us to provide seamless cross-border pool distribution and truckload services through our exclusive partnership with Fletes Mexico.

"We are excited to expand our network with these new terminals," said Executive Vice President of Operations Patrick Sugar. "The Owatonna and Davenport terminals will strengthen our operations in the Midwest while the Stockton terminal will significantly boost our service offering in Northern California. Our new terminal near Anaheim will help to bolster our service offering in Southern California."

In 2024, Saia has expanded its presence with new facilities in Montana, New Jersey, Texas, and Utah, extending its reach across the Northeast, South, and Western United States. The company plans to open up to 16 terminals by the end of the year.
