Halloween Safety
This month, Safety Training Manager Samuel Wilfert shares three safety tips for Halloween.
Focus On Your Driving
Drive slowly in and around neighborhood and residential streets. Be extra alert when pulling in/out of driveways/entrances, pay attention to what’s happening on sidewalks. Travel below the posted speed limit in residential areas. Drive distraction-free!
Expect Increased Pedestrian Traffic
Keep in mind that pedestrians wearing headphones, hats or earmuffs may not hear your vehicle approaching. Slow down and expect more people to be in or near the road, especially in the dark.
Conduct A Proper Pre-trip
Make sure all lights are working and be sure to have clean windows and mirrors that do not obstruct your vision.
