As you may have heard during one of our quarterly meetings or read in my recent email, we just launched Saia’s new employer brand, along with a new career site, jobs.saia.com.

For over a year, extensive research was conducted to develop the employer brand with the intention of capturing everything special about a career at Saia:  our culture; our values; and our commitment to our people, customers, and community. We all know Saia is a great company with a tremendous 100-year history, and we’re always striving to make it even better. In fact, that’s what our new employer brand tagline is about.

Let’s go further.

It’s a powerful call-to-action, inviting us all to be a part of Saia’s success and growth. It acknowledges the amazing things we’ve accomplished as a company, as well as our own personal achievements and those of our teammates, and it sets the stage for what’s next.

Regarding the new career site, it is more modern and built using technology to improve our search engine optimization, so potential employees can better find us when using Google and other sites. The site now automatically informs prospective candidates when a new role opens through job alerts and has the capability to change imagery, or language, based on candidate interest. And it will provide candidates with the content that is most interesting to them about the job, such as benefits, our history/background, or our culture.

The site will help us improve how we recruit and allow us to better tell our stories to attract talent who have the skills and will support our core values. This will allow candidates to get a more realistic impression of the company or a job before deciding to apply.

In addition to the new career website, the new employer brand campaign will also include banners, videos and more – all critical tools that will help us attract more top talent – just like you – and to celebrate who we are as a company.
